Local musician arranger/guitarist/vocalist David Bowles and ex-band member and trumpeter Rick Nash went to work putting together what they would hope to be the most talented and versatile band to ever hit the Charlotte music scene. Says Nash, "We both agreed the priority was to find the highest caliber of musicians who would also possess outstanding character, the desire to present only the best performance one could offer, and a superlative teamwork ethic. The two musicians were aware that this aspiration would require time, talent, and a great deal of patience, knowing that settling would not be an option.
